And our windows?!?
Monday resumption. Until Florian going to rectify the windows, we spent the second layer coated with waterproofing crawl space. Once that is done we will be able to up the drain.
Florian arrived mid-afternoon. Having started coaching, he preferred to wait until the sales of the box we have sold the windows to come. It arrived a few minutes later and he contacted the manufacturer directly for info. Unfortunately the production is completely different between overlay and poses poses with safety shutter. There are 1.5 cm more height in the first case.
Rendezvous is therefore taken the following day with a manufacturer's representative to make a decision. It was my father who will represent us since I returned to work.
The commercial is spent Tuesday and best solution is to remake everything. 3 weeks of time to have our new windows ... Fortunately you can work without it!
The seller has tried to get the solutions refourguer arranging (regingots cutting and edging to the frames) but my father stayed on his positions. We built a new house so we would like new windows. It's not as if we were doing the renovation.
With these events, we expect a gesture of goodwill from the box of materials we have sold the windows (by the salesperson promised orally) and my father will take the opportunity to go to discuss prices for the part insulation and plastering.

Last week I took some days off to lay the power windows ... final drafts! Delivery was scheduled for Friday morning at dawn. "Great, if all goes well, we will have all closed in the evening!"
We took advantage of Thursday to advance on the outside: my father on the roof for the chimney and plastered me to the ground to apply the sealant on the crawl space. Lionel, the roofer, was also there to ask frisette the raids and install gutters.
Finally, the windows have arrived as planned on Friday morning. Time to unload the truck and gets to work on the windows. We defeated the package and it has the aluminum frame to take the measurements. Problem, it does not pass and you end up against the roller shutter box when we should be just below ... (Too bad I did not take pictures to illustrate).
We said we must be missing something and tries on the kitchen window. New unpacking and presents the framework ... same concern, you hit the shutter!
It then passes a quick phone call to Florian, the friend who has ordered the windows (to take advantage of its tariffs craftsman) and decided to go early in the afternoon to take a look.
Where is the problem? mason's error, poor ratings of the windows, we know that does not ask?
In the meantime, we ask the service door. No problem to fix the wall, but was a little surprised when the firm: the points of closure does not engage. It then modifies the hinges so that it is finally closing, but after taking measurements, the opening is too short 8mm!
There are days when we said we would do better to lie. At the end of the morning, we had put a door ... what performance!
Small lunch break, and you attack the windows that do not shutters. First success of the day: the windows of the garage and entry are installed without a hitch.
Florian finally arrived, and the conclusion is simple: the seller was planted in control and they have delivered us from windows that arise in applied without shutter. Must be modified by hollowing out the dormant part upper and rip down the flap. What joy! even he can not do it until Monday afternoon.
Despite this good news, we continue to install other windows without shutter. And, as is the day, this time it's the builder who has planted, forgetting to count the thickness of plaster on top of the frame. We must play the grinder to shorten and win regingot centimeter missing.
At the end of the day, we still managed to put 4 windows and a door ... Super!
Saturday, waiting for news of our windows, we grab the garage doors that were pending in Villette with my parents and we share the install. Once there, we discover, by sorting in the hardware, the seals are missing from the 2 packages! Back to
Villette to control the packaging and see that nothing had been forgotten. So I have to call Leroy Merlin to tell them the good news. Finally they open for me call customer service and make a request sent to the manufacturer for "fast" missing parts.
Nevertheless, we decided to put the doors and we'll see to install the joints for more ... There is more to it closely.

Archambault's latest production, the A31 came out in the bay of Quiberon
A new boat is always an event. At 35 after that, nobody in any doubt that the house down in the bay off as the last born from Joubert / Nivelt inevitably arouses everyone's curiosity. People have told me that the boat was elegant in the water and looked like a small A 35. Others told me that he had created a sensation with good speed and had finished bottom of the proto Mr Dardot, Parsifal. It remains to be (soon) find the coefficient to be assigned to this new little gem.

In the photos, I feel good vibes. It is high on the water like a light boat. In navigation, the wake, it is true in light winds, is amazing with a pure sliding bow probably a little responsible voluntarily. I dream of being able to confront the JPK 960!
